Attorney Antwayne Robertson II practices in a wide range of areas, including family, immigration, juvenile, sports, entertainment, and intellectual property law. He is licensed in the state court of Wisconsin and the Eastern District of Wisconsin federal court.

Antwayne is a Milwaukee and Riverwest native. He attended Marquette University Law School and participated in its unique Sports Law program in conjunction with the National Sports Law Institute. His focus on sports law allowed him to gain a variety of knowledge and skills in a wide variety of areas of law, such as business, contract, and intellectual property law. He received the Sports Law certificate from the NSLI upon graduation from Marquette, and also the CALI award in Patent & Trade Secrets Law. Antwayne also interned at the Waukesha County Corporation Counsel’s office, and served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Michael O. Bohren while in law school. While interning in Waukesha, Antwayne was able to gain valuable courtroom experience in family and juvenile law.

Antwayne’s research and writing abilities have been recognized by his peers. He was published in Marquette’s Sports Law Review in its 2015 spring issue for his article “Internet Piracy of Sports Broadcasts: Finding the Solution in the United Kingdom and the United States.” Prior to this, he won the 2014 Sports Law program’s comment competition award while serving in the school’s Sports Law Review.

Having lived in Riverwest for 25 years, Antwayne has grown to understand the needs of his community and the city of Milwaukee. He opened his own practice after graduating from law school, and has since litigated many cases over the last two years in order to be able to bring experience to those in the community that need his services. In addition to his advocacy work as a private attorney, Antwayne has also served as a guardian ad litem on many juvenile and family cases. He believes that communication is the key to a successful attorney-client relationship, and never wants a client to feel as though he or she is not a priority. Antwayne will fight zealously for his clients, and will always take the route that is in his client’s best interest, whether that be through trial or settlement.
